Summary:
Growing Proprietary Trading Firm seeks a Senior Level Developer. Role will be in a collaborative environment working with traders/financial engineers. Role will participate in the full spectrum of software development activities within a dynamic trading environment. H1-B Sponsorship is a possible consideration for strong candidates.

Responsibilities:
Work with team leads/financial engineers/traders/systems support professionals to gather system requirements
Participate in design/creation/testing/deployment of various modules within futures/options trading system

Experience:
5+ years experience in software development required
Outstanding development skills in either C++ or .NET, along with familiarity with one or more scripting languages (Python, Ruby or Perl preferred)
C# experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of relational databases systems
Required experience: multi-threading and multi-tier application development; exchange connectivity/high frequency feed handling
Required: problem solving skills; interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment; Good verbal and written communication skills; Good organizational skills
Ability to manage software project and programs, meet deadlines and work within project timeframes
Experience optimizing infrastructure components in a trading environment is a plus
Linux/Unix knowledge is a plus
Use case and UML experience a plus
Prior financial trading firm experience is a definite plus
