Senior Administrative Assistant / Investment Advisor

Chicago Loop

Dates: Start ASAP

Composes, and proofreads complex letters, memos, reports, and presentations
requiring knowledge of circumstances and company or departmental policy.
Supports project management by providing assistance in researching, and
analyzing information for complex or confidential projects, or projects.
Supports implementation and maintenance of projects as needed.
Coordinates logistics of meetings
Independently records, prepares and distributes information as assigned.
Responds to inquiries through knowledge of the company and department
Resolves routine to complex situations
Identifies critical matters and explains situation to Manager.
Manages calendar of assigned group including scheduling meetings and
coordinating travel arrangements
Performs moderately complex calculations
Supports the administrative and office needs of the firm in general in tasks
assigned by manager
This includes but is not limited to coverage at reception and assisting in
stocking supplies as assigned by manager.
Produce client and presentation books as needed (Peak times are quarterly and at
year end).
Will be part of a pooled administrative group assigned to primarily support a
business area with a variety of administrative needs.
Performs miscellaneous duties as required by management
Must maintain appropriate attendance
Compliance with all company policies
Maintains professional business attitude and behavior
Works to support the fundsí objectives

BA/BS degree required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to proof compose and create
communications and interface with customers.
Grammatical expertise and ability to prepare accurate, comprehensive, succinct
Ability to perform complex word processing duties using a variety of software,
such as Microsoft Office
Proficiency in keyboard skills
Extensive knowledge of department terminology, policies and procedures to
respond to inquiries
Ability to research and analyze non-routine administrative problems and present
Ability to independently complete projects using judgment and discretion
requiring compilation, summarization, and presentation of information
Knowledge of Excel; math skills to include proficiency with decimals, fractions,
and percentages
Ability to work to meet multiple deadlines
Management Responsibilities Include:
Completion of performance management process for all subordinates
Completion of development plans for all subordinates.
Compliance with all company policies
Hiring, termination and compensation administration
